He also claims he has informed the staff of his intentions.

cant see how unless he is just adamant about getting his degree. hes pretty much a shoe in for 1st round, high second round at the worst

As much as I want this to happen for selfish reasons, he needs to go to the NFL. Way to much risk of injury if he returns. Plus, I really can't see him doing much to improve his draft stock, he's already a probable first-round pick.

I'd rather have him stay. If he played at running back or wideout then I'd say go.

Could be top 10 pick next year........big difference in money from a 2nd round pick.

The DL should be fine next year, but we won't have the same depth.

IF Allen returns that is HUGE.

If we return Williams/Allen/Jackson/Foster and only lose ARob, I'm going to be so pumped.

Isn't he getting an engineering degree? If I'm not mistaken and he is the player I'm thinking of - he was extremely excited about the program here and said during his recruitment that the academic side played as big a role in his decision to come to Alabama as the football side.

If so, that might make the risking injury to complete his degree a lot easier to understand.

You are thinking about Da'Shawn Hand, not Allen.

It's not selfish if he wants to come back.
