Being reported by Gregg Dewalt, Sports Editor of the Times Daily in Florence.

Heck of a run and career. Wish him all the best.

Shame he couldn't go out with a title. The weather conditions really screwed UNA in that game.

He had a hell of a run. Hopefully they'll get someone that will be there to see them through the transition to DI.

I played baseball with his son back when he made the run with the three-peat. We were working on our field one evening and it was pretty cool to look over and see that Bobby had brought some football players to lay the sod for our infield. Those dudes were my heroes growing up.

Yep it was nice seeing Coach Wallace come back to UNA after Tater-Tot Bowden and bring the program back to the championship game again. Hate that he couldn't go out with another ring on his finger.

The best thing about Coach Wallace's tenure at UNA, both in the 90's and of late, is that he built his roster with local and state football players. It was special.

Eh. The other team had to play in those conditions as well.

UNA is more of a spread offense though, so it hurts them more. Snow seriously limits your speed. I think Northwest Missouri State was a better team, but those conditions also favored their style of play.
