A lot of people are talking about Derrick Henry and Kenyan Drake, but to my knowledge Damien is the 3rd back? Maybe a small scouting report on him?
Thanks
Thanks

From what I've seen, he's more of a true RB, like Ingram and Richardson.

Richardson.
His lack of vision would keep me from calling him a true RB. JMO.
I like the Harris/Ingram comparison though.

Shaun Alexander with more physicality, to be determined about vision in the hole.

I love everything about him. I hope he is the next coming of Su. He will getting touches early with Drake being guy lining up all over the field.

This is a pretty good comparison IMO meaning he's a compact body at RB with explosion and some toughness.
A better comparison would be Ray Rice or Micheal Dyer (RUNNING style not anything personal lol) both guys were very compact but bulky size. Ray has great vision and if the hole isn't there will push a pile and make it through, a little less vision with Dyer but he has EXTREME athleticism and better footwork in comparison. His footwork was the closest I've seen earlier in his career, like his HS film etc., to Barry Sanders a little, now that's a high comparison I know, but I thought Dyer would be special, and he fell far short.
Damien is somewhere in between. He's a shorter stocky build (like Ingram) and runs a lot faster than his weight would suggest (like Ingram who ran track in HS) but not sure if his vision and strength are at Ingram's level, but that will come IMO. His running style fits Lane's offense well, especially in the SG formations I'm sure we will be leaning on with a new QB and more double TE sets (I was hoping for a Hback role doubling as a FB for TFS, but haven't seen it mentioned). He works well out of that formation and on draws because of his explosion, he's gonna be a really valuable asset to the team for the next 3/4 years.

Ingram and Harris arent that short at 5'11. Thats about where you want to be. Dyer and Ray Rice are the shorter types you are thinking about. Not a good comparison.

I agree with the Ingram comparison. He's gonna be a good one. Love his vision.

Ingram is 5'9"
Google profile says 5'10. If you want to try to say they are increasing it a inch then you would have to apply the same logic to Dyer and Rice.

I thought they were both 5'9" too

Wasn't trying to argue or anything, I just figured you were going by what we listed him. I don't remember what he was listed at here, but I remember him being 5'9" after he left. We listed T-Rich at 5'11" and he was 5'9" too.
Either way, the point stands. Shorter, compact guy. I like that size for a RB. I imagine Harris is 5'9" or 5'10"

Lower center of gravity; hard physical runner; good burst. We got us another Heisman

Meh, I think everyone is trying to distance themselves from Richardson now that he's struggling in the NFL. No, he wasn't perfect, but he was a very good college RB. Let's not forget he was in contention for the Heisman at one point. He wasn't as good as Ingram, maybe, in some areas, but the two had similar styles, although not identical.

I'm not distancing myself, he's one of my top favorite players of all time. He was great here, and was in New York for the Heisman ceremony. I'm not sure he's a "true" RB depending on what is considered a "true" RB. Don't get me wrong, in terms of CFB I'd take T-Rich over Ingram, personally. No matter the yardage gained, even if it was a short three yard run, it looked like a highlight.
