bama lacrosse ?

had a debate with a friend who is a know it all. He claims it is a full fledged sport at bama with athletic scholarships. All I found was that it was a club sport like hockey. Who can settle this for me.

I'm pretty certain there has been a study to add women's lacrosse. They would join Florida as the only two programs in the SEC.

Lacrosse is one of the hottest, fastest growing games in America. It would not surprise me if today's club team, which is what Bama has now, will soon become a university sanctioned team.

They weren't allowed to wear jerseys with an Alabama logo on it pretty recently so...
