In the three losses to LSU, LSU also had a bye week before playing Bama.
Bama has a 3-0 record under Saban following a bye week when the opposing does not also have a bye. 09 LSU, 12 Missouri and 13 Texas A&M.

Considering Ole MIss is neither LSU nor did they have a bye week beforehand, I think it should make you feel more confident.

Lets see UA finished 5th in the SEC west in 2007 and 4th in the SEC west in 2010. LSU also won the NC in 07 and in 11 played in the NC.
I would also say 11 may be an outlier because of our FG kicking or lack of.
But if we are talking about stats look at it this way.
Season with 2 BYE games scheduled in a season 4-0
Season undefeated going into game after bye 6-1
Ole Miss after bye week 1-0
Never lost after a bye week before November
Ole Miss fricked

Also of note, in the 9 games Bama has lost since the start of the 08 season, 7 of the teams that beat Bama had a bye the week before or beat Bama in a bowl game.
The only 2 teams that beat Bama after having played the week before was Florida in 08 and Texas A&M in 12.
