Johnson is like the anti-Grant. I liked Grant, and I thought he was an okay coach, but Johnson has the personality and charisma to start something really special. Not going to jump the gun, but he is off to a good start as far as winning the fans over.

This weekend was big. Last year this time we had already eliminated ourselves from postseason play. Bama's basketball future looks bright.

Such an awesome victory and celebration. Back-to-back wins vs ranked opponents, upset the 17th ranked opponent with two great players in Jackson and Auguste, and finally finished a fricking game! Grant did have some close games vs ranked opponents, but he never could draw up anything to attack the basket or to finish. Such a great win.

I'm far from a basketball guy (a fan sure, but never played) but that just looks like a team real players would want to be a part of going forward. Johnson is looking like one hell of a coach right now regardless of the sport. He is loving it too. Heard when asked if this ywas better than being an analyst for ESPN, and he answered yes and that it wasn't even close.
