At some point you guys are going to understand Deiter did things that are important to our staff as well as anyone we've ever had, specifically destroying defensive backs on edge runs. They trusted him.
We can argue about whether that is smart or dumb, but it's clearly why he was such an important part of our offense from the coaches perspective.
