Haven't been to this great BBQ in a long long time. I have only been to the Northport location. Are the other locations just as good and the same? Thinking about checking one of the others out Saturday.

I went for the first time back in the summer, and frankly, I didn't think it was very good. BBQ is a funny thing...everyone has their own preferences. Archibald's isn't mine, though some think it's the best.

I think the on south of 15th street (on Greensboro maybe) is more of a sit down restaurant started by his son. I believe it would be a completely different experience than going to the original but the food is probably still good. Nothing better than the original though. Also, everything I said about the other location may be incorrect (I'm just going off memory) so sorry in advance if that is the case.

Other than the original location, I've only ever been to the one they share with Woodrow's on 43 in Northport. It was still really good.

The original one used to always run out of meat by lunchtime on game days.

The newer ones are called Archibalds and Woodrows. It is not the same place. The original one is on MLK in Northport, and there is no Woodrows in the name.
