Buried behind 3-4 guys for RT as of spring practice.

At this point my gut feeling is RG is the only spot that may change. Kennedy has the talent, Taylor has the experience. IF Taylor drops weight he may get it back.
I figured Baldwin could potentially be in play there, but I guess not.

Earlier in the Spring, Saban kind of made it sound like Baldwin needs to buy in to the system, and learn the "Bama" way.

My guess is that he is used to manhandling others at the HS and JUCO level, whereas in the SEC (and especially at practice0 he can't get away with being the "biggest on the block". He needs to learn technique, footwork and the playbook before he makes an impact. Has all the physical tools, just doesn't know how to use them quite yet.

Sounds like he has a long way to go. Hope he redshirts and competes for a tackle spot next year.

He won't see the field this year.

It's not just that he has to get adjusted to college or buy into the system. His biggest problem is that Jonah Williams showed up in beast mode as one of our top five linemen.

Don't sleep on Kirven taking the RT spot.

Did you not see the A-Day game? Kirven got abused by Tim Williams. If Kirven is the best option at RT, then Bama is in trouble.

Yep Kirvin is slow. He's a depth guy. He was a DT before he got a shot at OL. The 5 I named are the clear 5 best OL

Tim Williams is going to make a lot of people look slow this year. That said, I hope Jonah Williams locks down the RT spot and owns it for the next 3-4 years. Also hope Shank can get in shape and take back his spot as his replacement didn't impress in the A-Day game.
