I just took the time to watch the game on TV(DVR). In my opinion Amari Cooper will smash every single record a receiver holds as UA. This kid has it all, size, speed, hands, and swagger. He doesn't do a dance or the Superman move, but man when he scores or catches the deep ball you can see it in his body language. Besides being a deep threat he is also a possession guy, he will catch in the middle of the feild and not think about a LB or safety. Julio was very good, but he had hands like stone. We are watching a true great right now. RTR

I wouldn't call JJ hand's stones. He had some drops throughout his career but the falcons don't trade the farm for a receiver with stone hands.

Kids still a true frosh. Lets give him some time. The future does look bright as hell for him though.

My favorite skill set of coop is his route running. He does such a great job at creating that little bit of separation whether at the line of scrimmage or down the field to make a play.

It all depends on how long he stays. If he stays for 4yrs then I think he'll own the Receptions, Yards and Touchdown records easily.

He's on pace to break the TDs record next season.

That'll be the easiest 1 IMO. The receptions might be hard because we do try to spread the ball around.

Cooper is a better pure WR now than Julio was at this point. Faster, better routes, better hands.

Julio is a freak of nature athlete, though.

The big problem is that we don't have anybody besides AJ that can get it to him.

- Blake Simms surely can't do it.
- Ely has a noodle arm

We need an elite QB and we don't have one in the wings to replace AJ.

Or even into his soph. season. Amari won't be that kind of physical specimen but this kid has got the other intangibles locked down.

It will be Alec Morris or Cooper Bateman going forward.

I think he might get the TDs record next year.

Receptions won't happen unless he stays 4 years, which is unlikely at this point, or has a monster season as a soph or junior, i.e. 100+ catches. Julio is still like 20 or 30 behind DJ Hall I think.

Yards I can see happening. He has at least 27 games left in his career to get a little over 2000 yards. So about ~75 yards per game.

Then it is good that AJ will be here next year. Hopefully by 2014 we will have someone to take over that can get him the ball.

I wouldn't count out BS turning into a pretty good passer over the next couple of years.
