My wife and I went up for something a few years ago and we could not believe the changes on campus. We had gone up for games but neither of us had driven around the campus in years. We got lost

It was nothing more than a photo op/PR stunt.

Its commemorating a major historical event in the Civil Rights movement. Wallace made national news when he stood in front of Foster. Why in the hell wouldn't UA commemorate this?

Personally I think the tower and plaza are beautiful.

Think UAH will go DI?

Doubtful..at least not anytime soon. We are still very much a commuter school even though they are trying very hard to move away from that especially with more dorms and student life. And a lot of sports just don't have great support outside of basketball. And not to mention we don't have a football program,so we would get passed over by a lot of conferences...would be cool to get in with the OVC though.

I remember walking by Russell Hall pre-renovation when there was a sign outside showing what it was supposed to look like once renovations were complete. I thought people had lost their minds thinking it would actually look like that.

Russell Hall is so hot right now
