Tuscaloosa's very own. Indeed, I am cheering extra for this fella.

Subtract 1 1/4" from the skill players and linebackers for true height

You can't really trust the heights and weights listed but it occurred to me that this is one of the lightest freshman classes I can remember. There are always several who need to add weight, but it seems like a higher number than usual in this class.

Also, I had forgotten that with the loss of Taylor we only have one true DL in this class. That's also very unusual for us.

Does our scale only go up to 315? Or do we say, if you weigh more than that, it really doesn't matter.

That's the one that stuck out to me too. I don't know the guy, but that just seems too big for the position and what I've heard about his skill set. Weight gain because of injury or was he this size before?

Yeah 6'2 230 is still plenty big and might give him a little more speed and quickness

Seems to be a great class top to bottom. We are building some depth finally it seems at every position.

Don't you think Anfernee Jennings, 6-foot-3, 255 pounds ends up on the DL?

Yeah if he adds any weight he'll probably wind up a DE. He's listed as LB starting out though

A lot of these guys will drop some of those pounds when the pads come on.

Mekhi Brown has added some weight pretty fast as well too.
