I can see it now...A-Day's offensive performance will be horrendous per usual and the media/fans will all be screaming how screwed we are haha.

Same guy I saw on Rivals saying Pannunzio would accept the TE/Special Teams job this past Monday is now saying it will be announced tomorrow. Maybe he will be right this time.

Yes, support staff move all the time but Director of Football Ops is not exactly assistant film editor. There's been no explanation given, nothing is being said officially, and there are rumors out there of a possible investigation into violations. This departure just doesn't feel right and I think there's more to it than just a move.

Yeah. Look at the butthurt flowing in the form of downvotes for me mentioning it.
Dude had been right far more than he had been wrong and had actually brought out new unheard angles and information.
He gets hated on because of.. I don't know? Jealousy?

I agree with you. Boz knows his stuff. I don't know why people try to pick everything he says to pieces.

I'm generally pretty fine with anything he does, but these names in this search are just............
I'm feeling the same way. Not too impressed but I'm not Saban.
Just hope this move by Saban isn't an overcorrection to hiring Kiffin/Sark.

It's all in the delivery.
There's no "insider" that posts info and that's it. It always eventually comes at the cost of a certain attitude.
And sometimes those attitudes rub posters the wrong way...

It's painfully obvious he wants to be known as The Guy. Then he pouts when people call him on it. And, I'm convinced his sources may be insiders, but they're dumbasses who aren't great at deciphering the info they get.

I will agree, it's odd. But that's a little much.

A former member of Alabama's football staff is rejoining the program.
The Crimson Tide is hiring Joe Pannunzio as its tight ends and special teams coach, sources told AL.com.
The 57-year old Pannunzio has been the Philadelphia Eagles' director of personnel operations since 2015 after serving as Alabama's director of football operations from 2011 to 2014.
Pannunzio has a long history of coaching tight ends and special teams, previously coaching the combination of those positions at TCU (1990-91), Minnesota (1992-94), Ole Miss (1995-98), Auburn (1999) and Miami (2006-10).
Pannunzio was also the head coach at Murray State from 2000 to 2005.
The Tide was in need of a tight ends coach because of Mario Cristobal leaving to be the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Oregon. Running backs coach Burton Burns coached special teams last season.
Bobby Williams, now serving as special assistant to Nick Saban, was Alabama's tight ends and special teams coordinator from 2008 to 2015.

Sometimes people are let go b/c they aren't good at their jobs and making a public statement to that point doesn't do either party any good.
Sometimes they are let go b/c of personality conflicts with their boss. Making a public statement to that point doesn't do either party any good.
The point is, we simply don't know the reason so speculating is pointless.

you know how I know you're an alter?
There aren't rumors of a violation, much less an investigation.
