Scottsboro up 49-20 now. So much for the big match-up between #1 and #2. Etowah just completely mauled.

Wetumpka will win 41-14 over Benjamin Russell. Hell yeah.

Vestavia Hills beats Tuscaloosa County High 41-0. Tuscaloosa County High has really fallen. Remember they were ranked and playing Hoover not too long ago. Got smashed to a great Hoover team, but a good team nonetheless.

Auburn High beats Jeff Davis 28-21.

Decatur beat Muscle Shoals 23-22.

Connor Adair just threw a TD with less than 30 seconds left to tie the game for Hewitt Trussville. PAT will put them up.

Homewood facing a 4th and long right now with 90 seconds left. Huetown up 15-10 still.

Hillcrest beats Selma 59-14. Led 53-0 at the half. They're out scoring opponents 303-10 in the first half through nine games.

Brian Robinson had 140 yards on twelve carries. Didn't play the second half.

This website has been updating the brackets. One of the best high school sites around in my opinion.

Thank u!

I see my school, Isabella, will have to play 3 undefeated schools in a row after round 1. That doesn't look good...

Spain Park rain right through them. Averaged around 72 yards per rush. I know it was Tuscaloosa County High, Woodsen and Johnson are deadly 1-2 combo. They've now had close to 500 rush yards over two games. D'Arie Johnson finished with 232 rushing yards on the ground and 2 TD's.

Also, 42 is the lowest score Minor has had all year. And that was with a couple of turnovers. They're probably going to kill Homewood in the first round.

1A Maplesville is up 41-0 at halftime over 3A American Christian. It's on channel 68. I think the channel is called My68. Terence Dunlap is an unstoppable beast of a RB. Has offers from Nebraska and Illinois along with some smaller schools. Also, Nathaniel Watson has some SEC offers. Both players that are fun to watch for Maplesville.

Grayson, GA beat Hoover 36-14. It was 22-14 near the end of the 1st quarter, but Hoover just couldn't stop them.

I didn't get to watch it, but a lot of people told me Hoover straight up quit. The intensity and effort wasn't there.

Have they ever had to have mid quarter heat breaks in the first round of the playoffs?

Where's the football weather?

Playoffs start Friday. Really looking forward to 1A. Wanna see if anyone can knock off Maplesville. I doubt it tho. Maplesville could probably beat anyone in 1A-7A right now. If u don't believe a 1A school could beat a 7A school, please go watch some of their highlights.

Anyone wanna do their predictions for the first round?

7A
McGill-Toolen vs Jeff Davis--McGill-Toolen
Enterprise vs Baker--Enterprise
Central Phoenix City vs Murphy-- Phoenix City

Davidson vs Auburn--- This could be a sneaky game for Davidson if they don't watch out. Auburn isn't their normal self, but they still are a talented team capable of pulling off the upset. Since starting 1-2, they won 6 of their last 7. That being said, Davidson is 9-1 on the year and nearly beat the best team in the state, McGill-Toolen. So I'm going with Davidson.

Hoover vs Bob Jones-- Hoover
Spain Park vs James Clemens-- I think James Clemens gets the upset here.
Hewitt Trussville vs Oak Mountain-- Hewitt Trussville.
Mountain Brook vs Gadsden City-- Gadsden City.

Meh. 6-4 overall with some wins vs bad teams and blowout losses to good teams.
