I just think this person is a little too optimistic. Dazon may have improved a ton and may be able to play better being that he's surrounded by better talent, but he's not winning SEC POTY. Petty probably is as good as he says tho. And Avery isn't gonna say we don't have a shot at a championship bc that would be stupid, so people take that as him saying he feels good about making the final 4

Sweet 16 is what the majority of our fanbase is saying would be a great season for this team. Our past history shouldn't hold back expectations for this team. With the players returning, the players we have coming in, and the coach we have, we should feel like a tourney appearance should be a lock and hopefully we'll win a game or two

Why cant we make it to Sweet 16? Whats so difficult about that for a talented team? We did not make it that far because we never had talent like on this team. The new kids have to gell with the veterans; which is not easy and which is Avery's main job. If that happens we will make it easily. If not we will win many games but get shunted out early from tournaments.

Well I think you're all crazy. We're winning the 'ship this year, and Riley Norris is going to be our leading scorer with 40 ppg.

I'd be very surprised if Sexton isn't our best player. Solely because we have him, I believe Ingram has no shot of even sniffing SECPOTY...

This isn't a bold statement. A lot of team have a chance to go to the final four. If you get in, you only need to win 4 games.

I think the comment on Dazon was just trying to tell us just how much better he's gotten. I don't believe Dazon is a SEC POTY type of player unless he's stepped it up tremendously.

I think part of the reason for Dazon's alleged quantum leap is probably due to the fact we can play him at his natural position and have Colin run the point. Colin distributes and Dazon is able to do what he does best which is not play point. Combine that with these young kids probably elevating everyone's game to a certain degree and this team suddenly looks a lot different than the scrappy but struggling team that finished the year.

Avery has watched Fleming, Jemison, Wood, Sheffield, Watford, Woodard, Stewart, and Butler so far today. They watched E1T1 (Richardson, Williams) a lot this week as well

They've already announced our SEC opponents, but they haven't released the official schedule with dates yet. That usually is a little later
