So the game 1 lineup will likely be Sexton, Petty, Ingram, Key, Hall. Norris will be the 6th man I guess
Probably, but I think I'd switch Key and Norris, personally.

I'd be fine with it either way, but Avery said we have 4 all league caliber guys. Sexton, Ingram, Petty, Key. I feel like that's a hint right there that he has those 4 penciled in. He's probably just waiting to see who wins the battle between Hall and Giddens now

Yes, I think so too. I'm just not a huge Key fan. I think Norris adds more toughness. Key has his games where he goes off though.

Key is weird, he seems like he has the tools but can't put the project together. He is going to have to really improve though to be an "All conference" caliber player. His efficiency was pretty poor last year to be a stretch 4.
I'd think Giddens and/or Hall would have a better shot at being all conference than Key or Ingram

Updating Canada again- McGill beat UTEP and lost to Lamar. Carleton beat Northern Colorado and plays Vandy again tonight.

Fun fact, the only time in the past decade UTEP made the NCAAT, Tony Barbee was their coach
I wouldn't wish Tony Barbee on my most hated rival. Man that guy sucked

it's a little early to say a player can't put the project together after his freshman year. A freshman year where he made the SEC's All-Freshman team.

His efficiency was poor because he was asked to do too much last season. We had him handle the ball oftentimes like he was our point guard.

Adds worse shooting, worse ball handling, and less rebounds too.
Don't get me wrong- Norris is a solid role player, but Key is a better player.

Carleton beat Vandy tonight 81-74. So Carleton beat Bama and then swept Vandy. They're 3-0 vs the SEC but somehow lost to Towson lol

One thing Norris is not is Solid lol. You never know what you're going to get from him
Posted on 8/17/17 at 6:25 pm to Tide or Die87
But you do know he's gonna play harder than anyone and he'll have a good game in some way. If his shooting is off, he's making up for it with rebounds or something else

He also adds fewer turnovers and better free throw shooting.
Key does have more talent. I don't think there's a huge difference in their play, but Key makes some very sloppy turnovers. I think that's probably what frustrates me the most with him.

He did have too many turnovers last year, but I think with less responsibility on offense this season he'll cut down those numbers.

Lunardi released his August tournament bracket. LINK
Bama is an 11 seed against Baylor. We're listed as the fifth to last team in so the last team to not be in the First Four.
Other SEC teams:
Kentucky - 1
Florida - 2
Vanderbilt - 9
Missouri - First Four 11
Arkansas - First team out
Texas A&M - Eighth team out
Other teams on our schedule:
Arizona - 1
Minnesota - 4
Texas - 8
Rhode Island - 10
Oklahoma - 10
UT Arlington - 12
Joe has eight Big XII teams getting in which I think is too high.

I disagree. Some games he brings nothing. If his shot not on he just a body IMO. I don't see the great defensive player or rebounder everyone else sees.

Riley turns it over almost every time he drives to the hole tho lol.

Either Lunardi thinks Billy Kennedy is the worst coach in the world, or he is just a straight up idiot. TAMU probably has the best roster in the SEC

I've got TAMU third in the SEC. I'm surprised he has Vandy so high too. I don't think Kornet is a guy who's easily replaced. Kentucky doesn't seem like a 1 seed either.
I don't see any way 80% of the Big XII gets in this year. Are Texas and Oklahoma really going to be that much better?
