Jerry Meyer, eric Bossi, Evan Daniels, Brian Snow, Jeff Borzello, Jeff goodman, Russ Wood.

BOL has learned that Dikembe Dixson is not expected to sign with Alabama, and that the program will go in another direction.

Our staff dropped him just like Arkansas and Mississippi State. So it's our decision, not his. Hopefully our staff has someone better in line.

BOL said this: Staff just wanted a more mature impact player. They didn't think he was a great fit. Not sure if that's the same for the other SEC schools.

So im guessing they will probably go Juco route if they cant get one of these higher ranked players?

I would think it's the names that have already come out or just have a short roster next year unfortunately.

That has to suck for the kid. Going from 3 quality HM offers to zilch in a week. Makes me wonder WTH happened in that short span. You have to think it's grades or character issues.

It's weird to say the least. Did all three head coaches call each other up and say he isn't good enough?

I think his grade issues and the lawsuit may have had something to do with it

I think his family sued the school that they felt was to blame for him not qualifying.

LINK /

That's a link the Florida writer posted that shows an SEC bylaw that's in place which may keep them from being able to go to an SEC school without sitting out a year.

@GoodmanESPN: Jermaine Ruttley told ESPN he will transfer to Arkansas-Little Rock.

We can mark him off as a backup plan.

I don't understand how UT was able to recruit Dazon Ingram then. Same bylaw should have prevented it. Also, financial agreement signed by early enrollee football players should be covered yet we signed the OL who signed financial papers with LSU.

@TheRecruitScoop: Weekend Visits: Jonathan Williams to Georgetown, Arthur Edwards to Alabama, Bryce Aiken to Harvard, Kassoum Yakwe/Bahir Ahmed to St. John’s.

Edwards has underwhelming stats at both New Mexico and juco. He has decent size though. I don't know if he's a priority or maybe a backup plan to Eubanks, but at worst he's a 1 year player who would provide more depth.

@AEs_way: Alabama visit has been great
