we down by 3 in the 6th inn. so ORU may sweep an SEC team that has some good starting pitching returning.

So I see we're about to start the season 3-4. What's the deal? Is ORU good or are we bad?

It's Bama baseball, so we are bad.

Seems like we just suck at almost everything.

Remember when the thread title said Goff was the greatest coach ever and we were 2-0. I remember.

Meanwhile Louisiana Tech is 7-0. Goff is going to build a solid program. Give it time.

Yeah, wish we had another year from Will Haynie

All of the games until Missouri are not hard. If we don't head into conference play with a good record, we'll have a very ugly record after going through the meat of the SEC

Might as well expect the worst. We'll definitely drop some midweek games against lesser opponents because we don't have the depth at pitching and the consistency hitting the balls. We're 60th right now in slugging %, and have a .381 OBP.
Think Greg will have us in the right direction though

Looks like we are about to drop one to Jax St. We're down 2-1 in the top of the 10th.
On the other hand Auburn lost to Samford 7-6 so the day wasn't all bad.

We scored 1 run against a starter with a 7.50 era. Only two starts before this game for him this year but still

I think God looked down on us and said "Look, you're gone be really good in one sport and mediocre in everything else. You can't be great at everything".

Gaspard left us in shambles man.

They won without getting a fricking hit....a walk...a balk...and 2 wild pitches....that's little league shite right there.

Well, if you want some good news, La Tech is destroying Arkansas right now. Goff built up a pretty good team there and left them in good shape. Hopefully he can build that kind of team here and sustain success.
