I know we got Payne and Hand, but who we got behind them and on the other side. Plus losing Williams and Anderson.

How y'all see the depth chart playing out?

Josh Frazier and OJ Smith both came on strong towards the middle-end of the season.

Raekwon looks like an animal, hopefully he will play like one.

Our Dline should be among the best again this year, but a unit doesn't lose who we lost the last two years and not see some drop-off. No reason to be worried though.

Read one reporter who projected Frazier as the other DL starter...think Buggs or Raekwon could be in the rotation as well...haven't heard as much 'bout the others though...

I think Evans could project in the middle or on the outside...could see them using him both ways but kinda think they keep him mostly inside and use Miller and Jennings on the outside...but that's just a guess. I liked the way Evans played in the middle...with his speed, he can run sideline to sideline, similar to Reuben, and he was effective when blitzing from the middle as well...

He and Foster were the 2-highest rated defenders for Bama in the CFPCG. Both had a sack and double-digit tackles and read where they were on the field for a combined 200 snaps. I think Evans and SDH in the middle (providing SDH comes back 100%) will be the best MLB combo in the nation...

Think our D will be right at the top in the country next season. I just worry 'bout our depth...we had a great D this year but they were gassed in the 4th quarter as Clemson's tempo and number of plays did us in...

Our O did not help the D at all during the CFPCG. If our O could have mustered up 2-3 more first downs, we probably win the game.

I think CNS and Pruitt are going to play our younger guys when we blow teams out. The heck with being a top def stat wise. First, it's less miles on the starters and 2nd, it gives them experience.

Nick has to change with resting starters sooner than he does. I hope he does

While I agree in part, I don't think it's all on the O...they could've done better but they did score 28 points...the D was on the field a lot but, while the O had too many short possessions, the D wasn't as successful in getting 3 and outs as we had most of the season...and our red zone D gave up TDs as opposed to FGs...

Frazier really showed some burst in the NC game. (Who would have picked him as having the first sack as a prop bet?) I saw Raekwon get some good push a couple times in very limited action. I think we'll be fine on the inside.

Rumors are out there that Kendall Jones may be joining the program very soon.

I don't know. I tried to get some info about it last night, but never got an answer back.

What's the deal with Kendall Jones again? A kid that didn't qualify at first?

He was supposed to be in last year's class but didn't qualify. Hope this is true...a big DL and his nickname was/is the Hulk...

He didn't make the grades so he went to a JUCO school, but didn't play last fall.

The rumor is he may have gotten his grades up to the level that would allow him to enroll at Alabama this summer. Being that he didn't play last year he would have all of his eligibility left too.

While true, only Clemson in the CFPCG this year has ever came close to running 100 plays against Bama in our history. Teams that can run 90+ plays on Bama are an exception and few and far between. Only 3 teams in Bama's history have run 90+ plays against us:

Clemson 2017: 99 (we lost)
Auburn 2014: 90 (we won)
Ole Miss 1980: 90 (we won)

While our offense had its issues down the stretch, it takes a team with an elite dual threat QB (with excellent skill position players in support) to do that to Bama...in addition to also having a very good defense that's capable of keeping our offense off the field, and that's proven very rare...

That being said, our passing game will need to improve if we expect to get back to the CFP...

Honestly, I think we could easily make it back even if this were to not happen...even though I most certainly think that it will.

Who in the SEC is going to be much better in 2017? Auburn could if Stidham is the real deal. LSU lost most of their defense, but their defense is taking a serious hit. No one from the East scares me. Much like last year, I don't see anyone in the SEC stopping our offense in 2017.

Again, I would be extremely surprised if Hurts did not improve his passing, but worst case scenario, I still think that a playoff birth is ours to lose.
