Watching this 30for30 on the Chicago Bears and outside the press attention, the stories within the teams are so similar.
- Suffers devastating loss the year before in a playoff
- Loses long time defensive coordinator after world championship season
- Complacency and mental errors cost both teams the game in their championship year against the opposing team they should've wiped the floor with
- Both teams use that game as motivation to complete their dominance for the rest of the season
- Both teams had a hellacious pass rush and a vicious defensive line. Also using the D-linemen as blockers for an all world running back.
I could go on and on but I'll just leave my input on that, there.
NOTE: I am by no way comparing the two team wise. Primarily just comparing the seasons and their similarities. So what do you guys think? Am I wrong in comparing the SITUATIONS?

I watched it also and came away amazed with the backstory, especially with me being born in 1986.
But I do not see any similarities, primary reason being is Saban and Ditka are polar opposites. It seemed that Ditka lost his team, especially after the "no commercial for you, but only for me" fiasco. Saban, by all first party connections I have with the team, is nothing like the tyrant the media portrays and have/had players who respect and borderline adore him for what he has done for them.
In other words: Saban(Fair, but tough) > Ditka (A$$hole)

as long as we don't go on a run like the Bills, I'm good
