The only one that is shocking is Allen. I think we have a good unit, but no individual leaders. Good for everyone though!

Saban should have been CotY.

I get Allen being on there, he's had a good season. I thought Dickson would make it.

@CecilHurt: Amari Cooper is the first WR to win SEC Offensive Player of the Year honors since 1987 (Wendell Davis, LSU).

Looks like he's only the 2nd WR ever to win POY

Also of note, Cooper and Collins were 2 of the 3 unanimous selections.

You can see that Cyrus earned a lot of respect around the league this year. Teams threw at him every week, and he denied them every week. He's one of the 2-3 most physical corners in the conference

It will be really hard for him to win CotY even if he is the best coach. It would probably take us having a 2001 Miami Hurricanes like year for Saban to win.

Surprised Reed didn't make it. Big Cam probably should've been on there also though he faded somewhat late in the season (largely because of injury).

This All-SEC team makes me feel justified for all the threads I derailed arguing with the crowd that said Cyrus sucked.

In the biggest game, with everything on the line, Mullen laid an egg in Oxford. Lost to an inferior team, imo.

Yep. Recruitingjunkie wanted to play one of the true freshmen over him.

Coach of the Year is strange. You don't have to actually be the best coach to win it. You just have to exceed expectations by the widest margin.
