It's not like you're going to get mugged walking to the Citrus Bowl. God forbid you have to look at poor people.

Not gonna happen. Saban ain't doing it.

We'll keep playing neutrals + 2 G5 games + 1 SoCon team until he croaks or retires. It sucks.

I know. I really have no problem with them in general and I buy that it’s a brand/recruiting strategy, but I just get pissed when I see Duke scheduled in Atlanta. What a waste.

But Saban doesn’t really have room to get really angry at fans if we don’t show up for these games or post-season games. It gets expensive. Neutral site + Regular Season + SECCG + Two Playoff games is tough for any fan base.

Really hope we schedule Washington in 2026 to commentate the 100th Anniversary of the 1926 Rose Bowl.

Now I need this. IN the Rose Bowl.

Absolutely. If we’re going to do neutral site games then let’s do it right.

Still think we need a statue of Pooley Hubert & Johnny Mack Brown somewhere on the Walk of Champions.

I think we should play Washington in the Link.

Seattle in early September is awesome.

Is it too much to ask to be able to get a coke at halftime?

Playing a game in a stadium that maybe hosts two games a year is a bad idea, in terms of support staff that administer a college football game.

I would have liked to see us get a basketball game in return. Duke football just got a nice payday because Bama agreed to play that game. It would have been nice for Duke to reciprocate with a basketball game. Maybe agree to a home and home non-conference like we did with Texas....or hell @ Duke.

That 2019 schedule is going to rightly get roasted by the media. Like, to the point of possibly becoming such a hot topic that it puts us in danger if we lose a conference game.

It's an embarrassment. Playing Duke the first game? Fine, I guess, but you better supplement that with another P5 game. And we didn't.

I thought this same thing back in 2006 & 2010. If we're scheduling Duke in football, then we should get a basketball series out of the deal as well. Remember how they kind of screwed us on the last agreement by backing out of the handshake deal and making us go to Durham. In the case of the upcoming game with them, we should've demanded that they play in Coleman with a return trip to Cameron.

It has actually been used quite a lot recently. The Lions just moved into their new stadium at the begining of summer and the stadium hosts regular events. I unfortunately did not get to go see Orlando play in the CB, but every account I have heard had good things to say about the service and facilities.

Pathetic.

You can't say it's teams not wanting to schedule us either. Ohio State, OU, Texas, and ND have all shown they're more than willing to play home-home with prominent programs.

Do we literally try to find the most pathetic opponent to play the week before Auburn every year?

I gave up season tickets years ago, and I dpnt feel bad about it.
Our home schedule is hugely disappointing.

I'm 100% behind playing the most pathetic team possible the week before Auburn. November is tough for us anyway, no need to make it any more difficult. Its good to have a cupcake before the Auburn-SECCG stretch.

All D1 programs that I'd rather play than Arkansas St and The Citadel. Kind of tired to see us playing the Southern Miss's and Chattanooga's of the world.
