2017 Champions Challenge (HSFB) Matchups Set!

Fyffe finished 15-0 last season and defeated Aliceville 28-0 in the 2A title game at Jordan-Hare Stadium. It was the second state title in three years for the Red Devils under veteran coach Paul Benefield. Maplesville went 14-0 and defeated Pickens County 40-12 in the 1A title game, extending the school's win streak to 23 games.

Pell City went 6-5 in Keith Etheredge's first season. Etheredge moved to Pell City from Leeds where he won four state titles. His team will play Hewitt-Trussville. The Huskies, coached by Josh Floyd, went 11-1 a year ago, including a perfect regular season.
