He said it was a great visit and that he and his dad enjoyed it. Our coaches didn't pressure him to commit but Johnson said he'd love to coach him. Typical no information recruiting post.

Thanks Bryant! Always enjoy your info. When bol never had basketball recruiting info, you and mr gold always brought good info. You're always on point when someone gets an offer or is visiting, and who the staff is following on twitter. Cheers bro!

Collin Sexton named Alabama in a short list of schools prioritizing him and when asked about what coaches he'd made a good relationship with he named 3 schools and one of them was Alabama. He said "Alabama, for sure". It sounds like he likes us a lot. Here's the interview

He doesn't look shy on the court, but he certainly has some camera shyness. If he continues to perform the way he's been playing on the AAU circuit, he could end up a unanimous top 10 or 15 recruit.

Yeah, I read that he is extremely shy and nice off the court. They ssid but once he gets on the court, it's a complete 180. He likes to mix it up with opposing players. If you watch one of his highlights he drains a 3 in somebody's face, and then turns around and talks smack lol

He really likes Bama, and the coaches! As you eell know, I've said I think we lead for jim. I'm just going to say it, I think he's going to sign with us. He really loves Bama!

I agree, he will be a top 5 to 15 player in the country. He just competed against the top talent in the country and averaged over 30 points a game!

He's enrolled in class and going through team workouts so that already makes Kirk factually wrong. I think Kirk got some bad info on this one.

I really hope hes wrong. Alabama basketball has been cursed over the past 10 years it feels like and we need the bad stuff to stop.

Good lord, I hope not for ours and his sake! There's no way he would be drafted. He would have to go overseas and play. I won't believe it till I hear him say it. I think Kirk got some bad info.

could he change his mind? When do you have to declare for the draft?
Posted on 6/11/16 at 2:41 pm to Bamafan15
No way that kid is good enough to play in the pros.

I think the declaration date has long passed and it's not like he would have any hopes for the nba right now anyways. If he was going pro, it'd be in hopes of being picked up by a team in Europe or China.
But I mainly think Kirk just got bad info because Giddens is already participating on campus.

Cecil Hurt on the Giddens rumor
quote:
Anything is possible but no idea why someone would go through the whole transfer process if that was their plan.

Yes suhhh! Kid is about to gain a lot more attention though. I think he'll remember that it was Avery that loved him from the start when its commitment time!

In that 18 minute video I posted not too long ago, Avery said something about one of the kids that came to his camp he had a great relationship with. One that he was recruiting I think. The camp he was talking about had 2 of our current recruits, Reese and Sexton. I think he's probably talking about Sexton. I think we're still the leader for Reese tho.
