Square apologetic; Chargers D-line regroups
Damion Square stood and addressed teammates in a meeting Thursday morning.
The moment was a long time coming.
In early January, the Chargers defensive lineman said that he was summoned for a random toxicology test at his Texas home. But he was not in Texas; he was in Alabama. Due to a “miscommunication” for which he claimed responsibility, his failure to attend violated the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.
He filed an appeal.
It was denied

Amari Cooper and Derrick Henry both have touchdowns in the Titans - Raiders game. Coop made a hell of a catch. Henry got 10 touches on a 14 play scoring drive.

Lacy looks like his old self. I know he was overweight last year, but a lot of people don't remember that he also injured his ankle last year and that could have affected him. Either way, he's going to make the Packers offense really fun to watch.
Henry is silencing critics left and right. So much for being a slow big RB that doesn't have the footwork to make anyone miss.

Told everybody Lacy would be completely fine. The ankle injury really held him back. Didn't he still average 4.1 ypc?
Either way, he's going to have a big year.

Yeah, most of the Lacy hate just stemmed from his weight. He's a good back, and he's gonna get his this year.

You follow Paxton Murray on Twitter?

Cyrus Jones had a 60 yard punt return

Might be getting a Coker sighting on Fox in a few minutes.

Well, that's not a good sign. He didnt get any snaps. Barkley played most of the 2nd half and looked pretty good.

I don't except Coker to make a team.
AJ had a TD pass and a real nice 53 yarder. Solid preseason for him so far.

Nice Preseason for Yeldon, too. He did have a fumble today.

TJ Yeldon's preseason production:
Game 1: 4 car, 26 yds (6.5 YPC)
Game 2: 2 car, 15 yds (7.5 YPC)
Game 3: 5 car, 34 yds (6.8 YPC)
+4 catches for 20 yards

Severe lack of Nudie imo

Derrick Henry still waiting on a jersey number, cuts will be freeing some up.

If AJ had been playing for the Broncos he would've been the starting QB this season. Trevor Siemian a 7th rounder out of Northwestern, who had an career TD to INT ratio of 27-24, was named the starter today.

There was talk Hue Jackson was trying to take him with him to Cleveland, but the Bengals had no interest in moving McCarron.

Cards waived/injured Coker with a knee injury, so most likely he'll revert and be stashed for the year on IR.

I'm glad. Cleveland is where QBs go to die (career speaking wise of course)

McCarron is legit. I'm sure there a quite a few teams that would love to have him as the starter.
The only thing I can see the he needs some work on is his pocket presence. It isn't bad, but he hits the eject button too often when things break down. Better than just throwing it to anyone, but he could get a little better at looking downfield more when things break down.
