@GTuckerF150: 2015 Carver-Montgomery (AL) wing Brandon Austin has committed to Alabama, per a source

He's 6'5. Supposed to be a very good shooter.

I think Alabama is gonna have another good in state crop for 2015 with Austin, Burton, Purifoy, and a couple other high major prospects.

I know Purifoy but who is Burton. Im kind of shocked because there was a white kid from North Alabama who was suppose to be highly rated who can stroke it.

Grant's really pulling them in. I'm just going to go on record for future reference that I am still a Grant supporter and I think he can get the job done at Bama. I think he has just had a few untimely setbacks as far as injuries and discipline problems are concerned that I feel have derailed his progress. If he does not work out long term, I will be sad because he is an awesome guy, but I want what's best for this program. Here's to hoping he can do something great with this class he is putting together.

Tommy Burton. Not sure, but I think he is one of the ultra-athletic SF types. Lamonte Turner is also a name to keep an eye on. Judging from his Twitter he really likes Alabama.

I hope Grant is successful. If he keeps pulling in good prospects, he will be.

Yea Ethan Stair. We cant take Burton and Purifoy. My wish list wouldve been Stair(PG), Purifoy(SG), and Burton(SF). Will be interesting to see how this turns out.

I thought Stair was a SG?

And if we don't get Purifoy, I think Burton would be a very strong possibility. We have very little size on the wings for the 2015-16 season other than Norris and now Austin.

Well his profile says he can play the 1 but forget that I forgot about L. Turner. I want that kid on our team. Also just read a article where the Burton kid said the doctor expects him to grow to 7'2. So maybe he will be a big man. We know that Grant likes those long athletic bigs. We just cant get any lol.

Dont me to take any shine from Mr. Austin but I doubt any of you have seen any video on Mr. Puifoy. Just makes me want to cry knowing that he could end up anywhere but Bama. You can tell he knows how to play basketball and isnt just a athlete. Here ya go LINK

Purifoy is a great player but he's into bigger schools right now. Plenty of time to get him to Bama.

Grant has always recruited well, not sure why people are getting all excited. He does nothing to make them better. Hopefully this will be Grant's last year.

Got this from Future150...
The 6'5" shooting guard had a big weekend at the Birmingham Main Event. He was shooting the ball extremely well all weekend on all three levels. He showed good athleticism, playing above the rim for stretches. He rebounded the ball and also plays unselfish basketball at all times. He has all the makings of a high major guard. Keep an eye on Brandon this summer!

He has 3 clips driving to the hole starts at 3:00

I'll def be going home to watch him play over the next two years. Carver was pretty stacked team last year. I don't think he got a lot of playing time because of guys like Jeremy Johnson and Demetrius Houston.

Their head coach played at Bama with our previous coach. When CMG was here the Carver basketball team was always on campus and at the games, but they didn't really have any high major talent at the time. I hope we can continue or restart that relationship.

Well when I watched them this year he wasnt the focal point of the team but he was the reason they were winning. His defense and the way he works is great.

Well, that won't last once he gets a little of that Coleman magic rubbed in.
