No one really expected her to totally shutdown OU..that's impossible with the line up they have. OU is one of the better COMPLETE teams with pitching and hitting and we are very lucky to have come out of it. They were really shafted by the seeding...and we were shafted by having to play them. They were ranked in the top 8 ALL season and finished top 5 iirc, but did not get a top 8 seed in the NCAAT.
And Osorio is a baller...she is going to be hell to face the coming years. We just need to find a solid pitcher after her. littlejohn is going to have to step up next year.

Well it sounds like that game sucked. Pretty sure I could have gotten more hits than these girls did.

the hitting just not there again this year. I had some hope that we'd gotten hot during the regionals when Bama mercy ruled everyone in all but one game.... but OU was tough and we survived by the skin of our teeth.
I hoped we'd get at least one victory in OKC, but just making it there is the program standard.

osario [sp] bless hr hearr, shes still young and hast figured out how to get thru that big inning yet. she'll figure out how to keep those 3-4 run innings to just 1-2 runs. of course if bama cant hit the opposing pitcher, it really doesnt matter.
