Tough ending but loved this team. CFB wouldnt be as fun as it is if Bama won every single year.
Blake Sims had a great year. He struggled at times, yes but he made way more incredible plays than bad ones.
Cooper had a truly special season. Glad I had a front row seat for it.
The defense wasnt 2009 or 2011 by any means BUT the front 7 was very good. Bama was below average at cornerback and safety play against the pass was below average. The deep ball wasnt just an Achilles heel, it was a huge target on the back that hamstrung the front 7 and the entire team at times.
I hope Yeldon comes back but I certainly wouldnt blame him if he didnt. He has had a special career at Bama.
JK Scott is a weapon that could easily punt in the NFL right now. Glad hes here for 3(or 2) more years.
As bad as it is for the SEC, CFB needed a breath of fresh air and some non-southern teams that are legitimate challengers.
This team overachieved IMO and ill take an SEC Championship season any year.

GREAT season. We absolutely overachieved. We came up just short at the end, but honestly, if you're not happy about this season then you need to GTFO.

Disappointing end, for sure.
That being said, it was a fun ride. We continued some streaks: 8 in a row against UT, 8 in a row against Arky, 7 in a row against Miss St., 4 in a row against LSU. We won the Iron Bowl and the SECCG.
I wish that Blake would have been sent out on a higher note, but oh well.
I said at the beginning of the year this team wasn't a championship caliber team, and it turned out to be true. This team wasn't a title team. Our defense had too many holes and our offense was too predictable. That being said, I would have never thought that we would have made it this far. I'm proud of this team.

I could never be disappointed in a SEC Championship season. The Crimson Dynasty isn't over yet. Six out of seven years going into the final regular season with a chance to play for the National Title.

Yep, despite not winning it all, this team will go down as one of my favorites. They were a fun team to watch mature as the season went on.
