Murphy has done a terrible job of recruiting over the last couple of years. When you have the facilities, fan support and tradition that Alabama has in softball, it's inexcusable to waste it...probably just got lazy.

Anyone know what our 2018 and 2019 classes look like? I don't follow softball recruiting? Any reasons to hope for good things next year?

I hope Bama can get a top 16 national seed to make sure they host a regional.

Bama just doesn't have enough quality wins to be a top 8 seed.
Top 5 wins are
2 wins over LSU
1 win over ULL
1 win over Missouri
Then it would be the win over USA or Stanford.

Split a doubleheader with Ole Miss today, won 2-0 and lost 2-1.

Bama just hit back to back home runs. However, the 2nd home run doesn't count because the player didn't touch home plate.

Murphy must tell his hitters not to swing at the first pitch. The hitters are just looking at perfect right down the middle first pitches.
Then they swing at pitches in the dirt.
So dumb to fall behind 0-1 most of the time by watching easy to hit balls go by.

Could potentially finish under .500 in the SEC if they don't get a win versus auburn. Which seems daunting at this rate.
And to think Alabama had the easier route to a conference title in 2017. Maybe Murphy should pretend to take another job again.
