The Crimson Tide's running game got cranked into high gear as Richardson ran for over 180 yards (his fourth straight 100-yard game). The Tide defense started out soft but slowly tightened its grip around the Florida offense, and Alabama emerged victorious in the Swamp by the score of 38-10.

Felt bad for Brantley after this game. He was doing a good job vs our secondary early on.

I remember throwing the remote at the TV early on when Kenny Bell dropped a TD pass and Bama had to settle for the field goal.

What was it about that year that we seemed t give up a long pass on the first drive? That happened in several games.
We also don't get enough credit for this game. It was a hyped up game and Florida was playing well going into it. We absolutely broke them.
