Alabama defeats an over-hyped Ole Miss team in Vaught-Hemingway.

The Ingram run on 4th down crushed them.

That 2009 Ole Miss team wound up being a decent team (9-4, Cotton Bowl champions), but I'll always remember them as "Ole Myth" because of all the preseason hype.

Isn't that the year they had snead on the front cover of SI before the season started?

I thought Ole Miss would be a contender that year. They finished '08 upsetting Texas Tech.

Then they went back to being Ole Miss and lost to the Cocks the first game.

Wow, forget how bland that offense was much of the year. Mac was efficient but Kiffin has a much more enjoyable and explosive offense to watch.

Mac struggled in the red zone. Brilliant game plans at times, but wanted to throw the ball in the red zone.

I remember this game stressing me out alot because it was a game we were well in control of and clearly the better team, but it was still pretty close late and we just sorta refused to put them away (until the very end), a dangerous thing to do on the road against a good team.

Yes, and he threw four picks. Kareem almost ran one back close to 100 yards for a TD, got caught near the goalline...only to have Trent fumble it right back to them. We score there and it isn't nearly as close.
