Found this gem the other day and thought some of you might enjoy it.... Bear, USC and Keith Jackson, it doesn't get any better.... Make sure you watch the very end of the game

I remember watching that game on TV as 13-year old...very exciting ending with the 2-point conversion attempt. You never see a game like that now as everyone just kicks the XP and goes into OT...miss those days as I'm not a fan of the college OT rules...

yea this is the first game I remember watching on TV as a kid, I was maybe 7.

Didn't remember Ozzie returning punts.

Hilarious watching the ABC cameras following the hot chicks.

Thanks OP!

I know this isn't exactly a revelation, but damn, Dwight Stephenson was good. He just stands his guy up or blows him off the line of scrimmage almost every play. He is so quick off his snap it's ridiculous.

No need to constrain yourself to the 4th quarter.

Full game.

20 minute highlights.

Here's another thing everyone should notice: Steadman Shealy player a series in that 4th quarter clip. One thing I remember from 1977 and 1978 is that Bryant played Shealy about every third series, come hell or high water, no matter the score. So in 1979, instead of breaking in a new QB, we had a veteran returning, although not a returning starter...who ended up leading Bama to its only perfect season in the seventies.

People should remember that before assuming that we can't give 2 QBs significant playing time. Tell that to Coach Bryant.

If she was 25 at that game, she is pushing 65 today. Time sure does fly.
