Does practice start today? I was thinking it was Friday. Can't wait to get the first reports.

The only problem with practice starting today is the two week or so lag in finding out anything. Saban runs a tight ship and news is virtually non-existent. I understand why he does this and it's best for the players but for those of us who love the Tide we feel like jilted wives out on the curb with a box full of underwear and shoes.
It's even worse for reporters who have to make a daily report on practice in which they only see the warmup. So they repeatedly tell us who lined up behind who because this is pretty much all the info there is though they know and we know that the lineup might mean exactly zip.
Probably the best info they gleen is when a player makes a dramatic physical transformation that they can see with the eye. Not always but sometimes that info will end up being useful down the stretch when the start contributing on the field.
So.... We wait.

BOL did a Spring Practice Preview, first practice is tomorrow so we probably wont hear anything until then.

Put me down for TeamAnybody. I think Coker, Cornwell, Bateman, and Barnett are all good choices. I like our QB situation, excited to see how things shake out in the Spring. Wanna see the start of Spring QB order, not that it'll really be that meaningful.
