If you've read every one of the hundred stories I've posted on Sports Lite, you'd piece together Johnny Manziel is in a terrible place and probably has a substance abuse problem. Well now according to TMZ Sports, his friends think he's getting worse and has a serious drug problem, even doing cocaine in front of people he barely knows. Per TMZ...
quote:

"He's in a horrible downward spiral," one source very close to the QB tells TMZ Sports.

There have been multiple serious attempts to help Johnny -- with one group of close friends recently sitting him down and "confronting" him about his situation. But, as one source put it, "He flipped out and would not hear it."

His friends are desperately trying to get through to him but haven't been successful -- and they're hoping this story will serve as a wake-up call.

"He's too much of a risk," one high-powered nightclub source tells us ... "He's a good guy, but he's a f***ing mess."
This article goes on to say that he thinks he'll be back in the NFL. I wonder how this will end.

Can he just OD already so we don't have to keep hearing about this loser? Dude has athletic ability that most can only dream of and squandered it to get high.

I don't see the problem. He's not hurting anyone. If most of us didn't have to wake up and go to our mundane 9-5 everyday to pay bills and had an unlimited income we'd be partying and living it up too.

He has to go to court for beating his ex-girlfriend. His dad has come out and talked about how much it hurts him to see his son wasting away. He wrecked a rental car, destroyed a rental home, is getting in fights at clubs, and cost the Browns millions. But yeah I see what you mean, keep it up Johnny!

Too late "friends". You should have been more aggressive years ago.

Jail or the morgue is his final destination. Only way he sees the football field again is if they bury him under it.

This will be a 30 for 30 one day once he overdoses. Fame and money affects some people in such negative ways.

@ctiger69 This kid is way past the uncomfortable sit down in the living room phase. His folks need to be exploring involuntary commitment. Hell that's not a silver bullet or anything, but it may buy him some space and time. He'll be dead in a couple of years at this rate. He looks 20 lbs lighter and he was never a big guy or anything.

If only drugs were illegal so he couldn't get any.

His parents should've parented better. Sounds like he came from affluent home where he was coddled and babied his whole life. I feel sorry for him, sort of, but this guy was handed everything and he's blowing it year after year. At some point, that's on him. I definitely think we're there. He'll be dead in 1-2 years. OD of course.
