Auburn OL Jordan Diamond Out For Season

Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn announced on Tuesday that third-year sophomore offensive lineman Jordan Diamond had season ending surgery on Tuesday:

"He will be out for this year and that’s unfortunate," Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said Tuesday. "He’s a good player. He’s a great person and that’s another loss up front."

Malzahn didn't specify what injury Diamond suffered to prompt the surgery. Regardless, the Chicago native tweeted that the procedure went off without a hitch Tuesday morning.
