According to ESPN, Adrian Petterson's career with the Minnesota Vikings is likey over.
quote:

Peterson is in denial about his future, according to a team source. The Pro Bowler tweeted Friday that he passed a lie detector test, which served as further proof, according to multiple sources, that he "really doesn't get it."

The Vikings do not foresee Peterson in their future, according to team sources, following a botched attempt to activate the running back this past Monday only to reverse course Wednesday by placing him on the commissioner's exempt list.
Peterson faces a child abuse charge in Texas for using a wooden switch to spank his 4-year-old son in May.

He is currently on the exempt list, which means he can collect the remainder of his $11.75 million salary for this season.

I guess we all better get used to this knee jerk politically correct BS, I know my dad and all my friends parents would've been arrested and finede for the beatings we got as kids, If Peterson truly abused his child let the law handle it, what's coming next you show up at your job and HR calls you in to the office and says "Sorry Mr Jones, we have to let you go, it seems there was a complaint and cell phone footage of you whipping your child at Walmart"

The nfl started a long slippery slope when it decided to be politically correct in stead of relying on the legal system, once they started this politcaly correct thing it brought the politically correct sponsers in to play ,the nfl should have never gone there if you don't wont a argument don't start one !
