The NFL.com recently named 14 impact freshmen, both true and redshirt freshmen, for the 2014 college football season, and 5 players from the SEC were included on the list.

It's no surprise that LSU freshmen Leonoard Fournette, who was rated the No. 1 high school player by many recruiting services came in at No. 1.

Here is the complete list:

12. QB Kevin Olsen, Miami
11. CB Jalen Tabor, Florida
10. WR Ricky Seals-Jones, Texas A&M
9. RB Joe Mixon, Oklahoma
8. OT Cameron Robinson, Alabama

I’m proud to see Fournette recognized once more for his incredible athleticism. I’m really trying to get a trip planned to see the new stadium additions and see him play. If that doesn’t work, I’m glad that I’ll still be able to follow on The SEC Network when it launches. I work for DISH and 8/14/14 has become a big deal because we’re set to have it.
