CBSSports.com is reporting that Clemson QB Chad Kelly was dismissed from team for "conduct detrimental to our program" according to head coach Dabo Swinney.

Swinney said that the redshirt sophomore quarterback "has had a pattern of behavior that is not consistent with the values of our program."

"I hope he will mature and grow from this and become the man and player I know he can be," Swinney said. "I wish him nothing but the best in the future academically and athletically."
There we're multiple reports that Kelly was escorted off the field today during Clemson's practice.

According to 247Sports, Kelly was removed from the West End Zone earlier today by authorities and had a meeting with the coaching staff.
Kelly is a redshirt sophomore and was competing for the starting job with senior Cole Stoudt and freshman Deshaun Watson.
