ESPN put together a little formula to calculate the country's happiest college football fan base. The formula consisted of Program Power, Rivalry Dominance, Coaching Stability, Recruiting Trend, Revenue Growth and Twitter Buzz. The winner? Ohio State. Per ESPN...
quote:

“Ohio State fans have (maybe) forgotten about last year’s playoff disaster and instead are focused on being FPI’s favorite team entering 2017,”
ESPN gave Ohio State fans a 100 in two categories (Program Power, Rivalry Dominance) and a 98 in another (Coaching Stability).

Play in a terrible conference, play an awful schedule, have one of the best 2 coaches in the league and get top 5 talent. Pretty easy to be happy.

You got some of your facts wrong. Agree on one of the best coaches and top 5 talent. However The Big 10 is vastly improved and having Michigan, Mich state, penn state, Wisconsin, and oklahoma this year hardly sounds like an easy schedule.

I can't decide if LSU fans are simply unhappy or only happy when they are unhappy.
