He's a hell of a lot less biased than Vern Licquick & Bent Munchaburger, plus is a better announcer than either one...

I think he's one of the better announcers and I'd have no idea he went to Ohio St if I didn't know outside of it. Same for Rece Davis.

I actually find Herbie pretty respectable. Now I am sure a piece of him is happy when OSU wins but he's commentary is still quite good and unbiased 99% of the time. Same thing with Reese Davis who's a Bama alum.

No one is able to lay the Boom on him about this because it's simply not true. He's obviously a OSU fan, but it surely doesn't show in his work.

He is so biased that Ohio State fans made his life miserable that he and his family moved to Nashville to get away from it because he was not fully supporting Ohio State when we were struggling in big games before Urban got there.
