Per ESPN...
quote:

The incident occurred during a stoppage in play as Kristaps Porzingis was shooting free throws in the first quarter against the visiting Clippers. A police source told ESPN that Oakley had purchased his own seat a few rows behind Dolan and was making comments at the Knicks owner, who eventually had security escort him from the arena.

Knicks president Phil Jackson came out to try to calm down Oakley, who was yelling about Dolan and telling security he wasn't going to move as they handcuffed him outside the tunnel leading to the court. At one point Oakley was on the ground surrounded by police and Garden security.

The NYPD said Oakley, 54, punched three male MSG employees, all of whom suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene, as he was being escorted out. He was charged with three counts of assault, all third degree, and one count of criminal trespass, a third-degree misdemeanor.

We all know you can't "offend" anyone these days. Oakley should know better than to criticize someone and hurt their feelings. Today's world...

Buying a seat to a game doesn't give you the freedom to cause disturbances and ruin the event for everyone around you.

So it's okay to abuse the players but not the owner? Fcuk them. They shoukd get abuse too.

The owner wasn't doing anything wrong. Oakley was the one ranting, dropping 4 letter bombs, and becoming a disturbance.

So he talks trash to the owner from a seat that he purchased? And he was removed. Wtf

Sounds like it. Watching the video I'd have to say I side with Oakley. He gets kicked out for criticizing the owner and hurting the poor man's feelings, then "assaults" guys by pushing their hands off him as he tells them to back up and stop touching him. The owner could have just as easily moved and ended the whole ordeal, does he not have a suite he can go to to avoid getting his feelings hurt?

"We hope he gets some help soon." -Kind of an assuming statement on behalf of Knicks PR, no?
