re: Chips are down: Why is TTU dug in when they are clearly on the wrong side of history?

Why not. Just like Bama was dug in over the basketball guy. Only thing you can lose is what you dont have already. Why not dig in.
What do you think she is making at Bama? 250K would be top side for my guess. Being a public U I assume it is public knowledge.

K Braud was brought to replace Murph when he retires. I will fight anyone behind Sonic who disagrees.
Any thoughts on her as the new skipper. She left the life of a color analyst on ESPN to be an assistant coach. I doubt she left that life without some guarantee of being the new HC when Murph calls it quits.

I am happy for the young man, but he is batting 202 in SEC play. Think of how many more games this team could have won if he had batted say 275 with 31 K's and one of the lowest OPS on the team. Only 16 RBI as the clean up hitter.

I think Love was being sarcastic
I am not saying The Joe is right or UGA's field is wrong. In all sports there are common dimensions and I would like to see that in all sports. I dont care if it is 295 down the lines. Kapish? That would make it fair when you compare batting stats and home runs, etc.
Just an observation but Lemm broke his finger because of his hand placement while catching. I noticed his replacement; another bench player came in doing the same thing. Last night I noticed that our starting catcher had his hand placed behind his leg as the pitch was coming in. So, the question is, why are our catchers not all being trained the same proper technique so as not to get hurt.
It was hit and miss with the other teams that I watched on how they protect their throwing hand while catching. To me this is lesson 101 at the little league level.

Wow. Good guys up 7-2. How long do we stick with the starter? At least one more inning, unless it goes 3 up and 3 down.
Yes it is but UGA being in the same stadium inflates their stats compared to the rest of the SEC. Since it is their home field it would hold advantages as they know how to play things where as a rookie wouldnt. Aware someone the HR trophy and it goes to UGA with the left hander winning it.
So Bama sets new standards for their FB field starting in 2028
My app says the game has not started and I dont get ESPN U on the cable. But why the EFF does ESPN 1 and 2 show the same game?
I cant even get it on my streaming services through the ESPN app
UGA is 315 down the right field pole. You like that?
Uniform standards for the outfield fences in all of

College baseball. We have uniform standards for the basketball court and for the football field. Give each NCAA team 2 years to complete.

243 BA for SEC only. At this point in the season you are playing SEC caliber teams.

Our ladies hit the two pitchers in game one but could manage just two hits in game two. You would have thought this would have been an advantage to our batters after seeing them already. Any thoughts on what happened?

I went to bed after the third inning so my comments are from what I saw.
I coached little league so no coaching from me but.
The LF had the ball in her sights and misjudged and did not jump at all
The 3B running to second was an obvious slide. She was not even looking to murph for signs. If her eyes had been following the ball she knew it was going to be a no throw. That is a little mistake to not follow the ball in front of you for a split second and not slide and not look to your coach. I have not seen a reply from the angle to see what Murph's sign was.
Briski was giving up a lot of base runners in the second game through the third inning. I am not sure when she was pulled and when the runs scored though. But their batters had her down and were teeing off.
Our batters seemed to be miffed in game 2 even after seeing both of their pitchers in game one
Did our CF ever do anything meaning at the plate the entire series. Such as move runners over or drive in a run. I dont think so.

Did not watch much of the game but Banks pitched 3 innings of relief and walked 3 and gave up 5 hits. How did we not lose the game and only gave up 1 run.
