I’m all ears

For starters, are there even a dozen scenes in this movie?

The scene where his friend wishes for $1 billion and the money comes raining down in front of both of them. And then a few scenes later his friend is knocking on the door telling him hey man, the wish works the billion dollars, really happened. frickING DUH! He was there WHEN IT HAPPENED! The guy is knocking and talking through the door like he’s come to inform him that the wish worked. HE KNOWS IT WORKED. HE WAS JUST THERE WITH YOU WHEN IT HAPPENED!!!!!

I mean I don’t disagree that the billion dollar wish scene is likely the films weakest point, but not because of this

He didn’t bust in to tell him it happened, he was like “holy shite bro I have a billion dollars now let’s go do something fun”. Which may be a flimsy way to get him a quick ending and a bit of comeuppance for his role in everything, but the absurdism is pretty in line with the overall movie and Curry Barkers usual style

Is there one single guy on the entirety of TigerDroppings that would have stayed with any woman after the cat lunch???? I could go on for days about how bad this movie was.

I mean he was clearly wanting out by this point, but was both completely terrified of what Nikki had become and what would do, while also being entirely guilt ridden over knowing he is the one who made her that way. It’s not like he’s like “the lunch thing was weird but oh well!”

Surprised it took this long for one of those type of guys to show up

Jackie Brown is Tarantino's best movie

The first good take so far
I half watched (insert popular movie that came out 6-12 months ago) on my phone at 9 AM on a Tuesday and think it’s vastly overrated
I hear they are rebuilding The Brown Door across from the stadium

OJ White Bronco Chase?
(Guy who knows nothing about the Greeks):

Wow now they are turning the Greeks gay!
It’s funny for all the drama he still put up 78/1007/7 TDs last year in an offense that had him running curls 76 percent of the time

Pats betting on that pick being in the latter third of the first round- which based on recent history and lack of depth in these drafts, would be worth it if they can get 2 really good to great seasons of production out of him. Cashing in on that Maye rookie window. McDaniels going to scheme him up some fun stuff that forces him the ball early and often

Now pay Christian Gonzales and maybe trade for Thibedeux and you’re doing pretty good going into the season
I said I didn’t think they would, price feels a bit steep given the situation but glad it’s a 28 and not a 27 pick. Maye to Brown is a perfect match so I’m excited for it
Need to add to this list

Day 16- Kristi gets a slightly butchier hair cut

Day 17 - Kristi gets a slightly even more butchier hair cut

Day 19 - Kristi cuts off more hair for a slightly butchier look

Day 20 - Kristi cuts her hair again to be a little more curly and butchier

Etc etc

Have we seen anything with the Boyd/Parkinson’s stuff lately? That seemed to be fairly important and then forgotten.

Pretty sure he got cured of all that when he did the worm transfer to the smiley creature and killed him. At the very least they just quietly ended that part of the story

Won’t even make 10m opening weekend. Nate said they spent 40m which means they need to make 100 to make its money back

I’d love to see the mid/big budget comedy make a comeback, but why the hell is this movie costing 40 mil to produce? unless that includes marketing that’s kind of insane

Hopefully we get more movies like this and we stop the insanely short theatrical runs for any movie without existing IP

Give it a few months and you’re gonna get like 10 threads of guys on here going “finally watched Obsession, don’t get the hype. Overrated” guaranteed
Obsession having an all time box office run and one of the more unique and fun runs for a small budget movie in literal decades and yall are in here having the same rehashed Star Wars culture war argument that’s been overcooked on here for going on a decade
They send an email out when it drops on MGM plus and we don’t have much patience

In the middle of a move so we can watched it on an iPad half awake, prob will rewatch once we are settled in

What will Sophia/MiY's blood do to Henry? Surely he'll become a monster of some sort. Perhaps the foe for Fatima's golem in a season ending battle?

Not sure if it’s directly connected but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Donna basically died when she took a shot at the same time as the Sofia did with Henry at the other side of town

Also curious if this Donna episode uncovers some power that Boyd has. His “you will not die until I say so” line right before she miraculously started breathing.

Julie is a story walker, maybe Boyd is a story writer or something like that
Gotta say that episode was pretty lacking after 2 weeks of anticipation
