Truth, Pinkerton’s, Pit Room are all close to each other in terms of quality…splitting hairs.
I live within a 3 minute drive of Truth BBQ but rarely find myself there, mostly because the lines are stupid. I think Truth has the best sides.
Pinkerton’s has the best actual bbq of the three for me…their sides could be better…at least at the original location…haven’t been to the new one in the Montrose yet. If you want pork ribs, this is the place for you.
Pit Room has a more Tex Mex slant…get the tacos here, or sub the white bread you get with any 1/2/3 meat plate for tortillas. Original location is in Montrose, it’s tiny…the Memorial location is just as good and has an expanded menu…best god damn club sandwich in the cit

If Trump gets ICE to go after lawyers, i will vote for a third term.
They have sucked the fun out of society.

The line up looked like their next stop was a wedneday night at a third rate Mississippi casino, pathetic that is all they could attempt to book and even then failed to do so

Who would’ve thought back in early March that 3 months later Iran (with IRGC fully intact) would be firing missiles at Israel and we demand that Israel not retaliate.

Oh, no. He's a narcissist like every other politician?
I’d think to run for office you have to be some combination of a sociopath and a narcissist
Just got to find the right balance, trumps clearly a narcissist if you’ve ever personally dealt with one it’s impossible not to see it in him

With that said, we can still have philosophical discussion about it

Trump Admin in talks with AI companies about a Government stake
Posted by Dire Wolf on 6/5/26 at 2:52 pm

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and the White House are in ongoing talks about a possible government stake in the artificial intelligence company, CNBC confirmed on Friday.
The discussions have been in progress for more than a year, as Altman first shared the idea with the Trump administration in 2025, according to a source familiar with the matter who asked not to be named because the details are confidential.
The talks continued this week as Altman met with a range of lawmakers and officials in Washington, D.C., about regulation and the latest developments in AI.
As part of the potential agreement, OpenAI could donate equity to the U.S. government to seed something like the “Public Wealth Fund” that the company outlined in its April policy proposal, the person said.
OpenAI said the fund could “invest in diversified, long-term assets” and would allow citizens to participate in the “upside” of AI growth, possibly by receiving the fund’s returns directly, according to the proposal.
No official investment terms have been decided, and the details are still subject to change. Notus was first to report the recent talks.
President Donald Trump addressed the talks while on Air Force One with reporters on Friday.
“There are concepts where pieces could be given to the American public, where the American public essentially becomes a partner,” he said.
The president said he is meeting with AI companies “in the very short, very near future.”

I live in Houston and we have several games here, I hear people talk about it from time to time, but I just don’t see as many billboards, murals, etc., as I see other countries. We made a big fricking ordeal out of it whenever we were granted the World Cup but now that it’s here, it seems that nobody gives a shite.
the match ups houston landed suck.
Round of 32 will be a cool game.
