Shouldn’t forget those.

And for us even older types, Alvan Adams from OU also had a solid NBA career.

And as noted already, Griffin and Tisdale were also OU collegians who played very well in the NBA.
I have watched very little—much less than usual.

I am rooting probably hopelessly, against every SEC team and hoping a team from a different conference will win, since LSU is not in it.

Thanks for the heads up.

Sam gave it a good run.

I have a feeling he will win a tournament sometime this summer.

He’s due to win something.
I think the words posted by HailHailtoMichigan! make more sense than the opening post.

I have heard interviews with Saban since his retirement and it has always sounded like he was not at all enamored with NIL and realized he could not keep sending his teams to the playoffs every single year.

After all, he had won so many. Most coaches never win one.

Best of luck. It is a very painless procedure.

I had an unfortunate thing happen. A contract anesthesiologist tried to claim my heart had stopped beating for a second. He was out of his territory and area of alleged expertise.

I asked the main doctor about it and he basically told me that there was no concern, though he did not want to be really say anything about the anesthesiologist. I even filed a report and spoke with a high level official about it. Their response was they could not do anything to reprimand him, since he was a contract employee. Too bad they couldn't at least have not allowed him to return to the hospital.

I certainly hope nothing remotely like that happens (or happened) to you. l I do not get on this particular board daily, so don't know if you've had the procedure done yet or not.
I wonder if any college baseball teams will consider going the international route?
Congrats to Gage.

The A’s appear to be on their way to winning more games than last season, though no one in that division is really playing great baseball.
Georgia Tech would be nice, or NC State.

Certainly not any SEC team.
Javonte Smart, but really all the players named in posts above had their moments at one time. I didn't see much mention of Naz Reid.

Plus, Naz, Watford and Eason are in the NBA.

Edit: I scanned earlier, did see the post above about Naz Reid.

Also, Skylar Mays played briefly in the NBA.

What horrific pitching--all those walks are reminiscent of a team of 5-year olds whose pitchers cannot throw strikes to save their lives, especially the tallest player on the team.

We used to feel great about scoring eight runs, but not this time.
It's amusing how some of these McMen keep interjecting their views. No doubt that clearly a vast majority of the fanbase prefers Will Wade.

re: Peyton Houston bleeds P&G

Herb Tyler was an effective QB for LSU, so there’s no reason Peyton Houston can’t be, if he becomes the starter.
It’s not the worst, but it is one of the most underachieving baseball teams LSU has trotted out there in many years.
Why do a few fans get so obsessed with Ryan Clark?
A tough question to answer.

I do know this point has been made before. The coaching staff did not do its usual good job of evaluating transfer portal players.

Hopefully, Jay will make the changes necessary for next season.

re: What happened to boxing.

Don was a really effective boxing promoter. Though he sometimes got a little carried away, he still helped create more interest in boxing than exists today.

And yes, mixed martial arts has cut into some of the fans and interest that boxing used to enjoy.

It seems like the boxers don't have the personal appeal that the guys from the past did, like Muhammed Ali, George Foreman, Mike Tyson, even Floyd Patterson did back in the day.

I recall hearing John Sterling broadcast games of other MLB teams. I thought he was one of the best.

re: Will the Knicks beat OKC?

I hope you are right, but OKC is a huge obstacle for any team.
I would think there is little doubt that Marcus Jr will be a much better defender than Ben Simmons was.
I was hoping someone would start a post on this.

You are absolutely right—I would rather take a chance on the transfer QBs that LSU signed than Sorsby.
Another question is outside of Reliford, were there any other injuries suffered that will cause someone to not be ready to go in the fall?
