| This is why the coaches didn't want to take his commitment yet. He just wanted to commit to the first major school who offered him. Reply Back to Top |
| then we would have gotten his commitment. right, or are you saying he would have decommitted us to go to USC. Reply Back to Top |
| So we're not a major school? Reply Back to Top |
| Thanks for starting a new thread for a recruit no one has ever heard of. Reply Back to Top |
| Yeah, a top 200 player with over 30 offers. Obviously unheard of. Reply Back to Top |

| I believe this is the player from West Mesquite HS, near Dallas, a highly regarded WR. Here is my question--do these players pledging to USC realize that the scholarship restrictions at that school should really have an impact in the next few years--they will not have much depth. I believe this will take its toll on USC. I know they've been strong since the Carroll days, but can this continue? I also don't think Kiffen is anywhere near one of the nation's elite coaches. | Who knows, there's a lagging factor with sanctions. Reply Back to Top |
quote: nah im sure they have never heard about any of these sanctions you speak of as long as USC stays at 75 schollies they will be fine. They wont have LSU/bama type of depth but they aren't gonna completely fall off the map either. Reply Back to Top |
| Big time player. Nice pickup for SC. Love his body control and ability to get separation. Reply Back to Top |

quote: Ya because recruits love it when they have to compete with a bunch of guys for PT. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Agreed, after this year the may not have the depth to win a MNC for a couple of years but they will definitely still compete for the pac 12 and a bid to the playoffs or whatever we are going to get. The staff just has to really be sure with who they sign because a string of busts will really hurt them. Reply Back to Top |
quote:It will take a lot of luck for us to win it this year. Never mind the hype, we couldn't even tackle in our spring game for fear of getting somebody on the "2 Deep" injured. I hope that I am dead wrong, but unless the Defense plays lights out and we get DL help from "ready to play now" incoming freshmen, I think we'll lose 2 or 3 games. Not very deep at RB either.
