A lot of those guys we had to develop because our talent was awful. Only Vinnie has come in and surprised during the apex of our talent....and he's a db. I trust Saban to surprise me with db talent. Not so much at qb and kickers. I hope Morris develops into a heisman winner, multiple national championship winner, and first overall pick. I'll have to see our staff develop a project at qb before I believe it though Reply Back to Top
NNNOOOOOOOOOO LOL J/k ah well Dom had the best FA and one of the best drafts, can't slaughter everything I was hoping he would bring in Vlachos since we need a backup C and I GUARANTEE that sombich is gonna make the Titans might be starting C in 2 yrs, he was the best run blocking OC in CFB 3 yrs and no one touches him because he's 6'0 3/8 inches tall SMH And Also off the topic, but I saw "Cabin in the Woods" last night truly crazy movie Reply Back to Top
I've had the chance to watch Morris on a few occasions at Allen. The kid has a lot of upside. Has some bad weight, but has a great upside in regards to his physical capabilities. Kid can be good, and do what's asked of Alabama QB's, plus a little more IMO. Reply Back to Top
quote: Definitely not the reason he wasn't drafted. Average Centers do not get drafted, then you have whatever classification Vlachos falls under. Reply Back to Top |
I would guess that "bad weight" will be long gone by next spring. Lets hope Nuss can tuned in his upside pretty quickly. Reply Back to Top
Oh yeah. It doesn't take kids that have some bad weight long to get rid of it. Reply Back to Top
For Vlachos to make it in the NFL he will have to work in a zone blocking system where he can shield block rather than where he would be required to get a push. I do not know enough about what the Titans do to have a clue if he will fit into their system. Reply Back to Top
quote: Titans do run a Zone. Vlachos is just one of those college centers that don't make it in the NFL. It's a position that's very picky, no one drafts or carries a backup pure Center. He's not gonna take the Titan's current backup Center's spot, who had already made the team. And he also happens to be the son of the OL Coach, one Bruce Matthews... Reply Back to Top |
That would be a tough mountain to climb. He may have been better off working out the deal with the Raiders. Reply Back to Top
Would love to get that kid H. Poggi! Reply Back to Top
Update on EJ Moss quote: Reply Back to Top |
Can EJ throw accurately? Reply Back to Top
The only footage on him is from his freshman year, but it looks like he is accurate. He has excellent mechanics and a cannon. He runs well too. This post was edited on 4/30 at 7:00 am Reply Back to Top
He will be one of the highest rated QBs coming out in 2014 and is very accurate yes, doesn't get to show it very much, he will likely be asked to throw it more this year Reply Back to Top
Bucc do you even sleep ? Reply Back to Top
