The article says that he essentially got a free pass on a previous violence charge (first-time offenders usually do). This time the judge must've given him the max since he is apparently a repeat offender.

If he took diversion for the previous charge then his previous sentence activates.

6 years is a little harsh, but the tard deserves some incarceration. You can't just going around punching people in the face whenever you want without getting in trouble.

He was deferred after beating a high school girl after prolonged bullying of her.

Both got sucker punched by guys to their side while they were looking in another direction at another person.
The coward that threw all of the haymakers on the kid in the 21 shirt stepped up and did it only after he threw the sucker punch while #21 was engaged with the guy in white shirt to his left. The same one that sucker punched the tall guy while he was engaged with the fella on the right.
I've got no issue with the sentence, if your going to fight, do it like a man and hit the person while they are engaged with you not looking the other way at someone else. Someone could have been seriously hurt in that attack.

Drunk driver that actually killed people gets like 6 months. I'm pretty sure the guy who got punched in the video suffered zero permanent damage.
