Now most people around our age remember the live action movies, but I'm talking about the Saturday Morning cartoon. That counts. Not today's modern computer-animated stuff (although I haven't watched much of it, I'm not hating). This:

Donatello was the brainy one, the inventor. And in the NES/SNES/arcade beatemup games he was usually the best one because his staff is the longest weapon.

The only TMNT game I ever beat was the Arcade game (on the NES and in actual arcade). The original game was hard as shite.

Yeah the first game is unlike the rest, not even really a beatemup. Hard as balls, and not in a good way.

2 (arcade), 3, and 4 (Turtles in Time on SNES) are GOATs of the beatemup genre, still awesome today, and really fun in multiplayer

This is the most original thread I've seen in awhile and I respect it.

That said, it's sure as shite not Franklin. He was a fricking dork.

I came here to say Franklin.

Id like to see that pothead Crash count by twos or tie his shoes.

Leonardo. Donatello wasn't the leader for a reason.
