Oh, and burning jet fuel can't melt steel....

I was going to post an associated pick but Abbie Cornish is a lot more interesting.

So dumb. Troops are civilians.

Unless they were trying to get them to blend in somewhere in Michigan where all those Iraqis live.

Especially if nearly all of the jet-fuel burns up in a visible cloud of fire upon impact.......

Anyway, here's a pic that is prettier than thermite:

With that kind of impact, there would have already been damage to the steel support columns. The steel didn't have to melt, it just needed to be heated enough by the remaining jet fuel and combustible/flammable material inside the offices to lose just enough structural integrity (which was already compromised by the impact) that a combination of wind load and the static load from the weight of the structure to cause a massive failure and collapse of the towers.

But, steel did melt, you see?

Also, planes only hit two of the towers. The third building that collapsed neatly into it's own footprint at near freefall speed did so, we are told, because of a few office fires. Making it the first one in history to do so.....even though similiar structures elsewhere in the world remained in tact after surviving fires that burned hotter and longer.

I've seen Steve Spurier in a swimsuit but that was out of bounds?

Thanks for saving me from myself.

I love a good conspiracy theory but have issues with the 9/11 stuff.

If Ancient man could melt rock with wood fires...and create steel from coal forges...am I supposed to believe that you can't melt steel with fuel induced fires in an enclosed space with adequate airflow?

Building 7 was purported to be in flames on the lower levels which weakened the structure. Also, who knows what damage was done to the substructure from the collapses of 1 and 2. That was a significant event accross the street.

All that said...the reports of 7 seven having collapsed before it happened point to a planned event and are one of a few very strange things that happened that day.

So, sporadic office fires somehow caused every support column in the building to fail SIMULTANEOUSLY..... allowing for a free-fall symmetrical collapse straight down neatly into it's own footprint??

That's crazy talk.

Diesel fuel is not flammable its combustible so it has to be at a certain temp or be compressed a certain amount to even burn and all the building material used in the offices is flame retardent, so it was just paper and plastic burning and sprinklers would have put all that out. Also I imagine if a few floors had weakened structures the tops of the building would have fallin off?

Yes, it's amazing at how many strange things you'll find when you actually start looking into it with an open mind..

It's also amazing how posting the following pic has been able to ward off the kneejerks that usually shout "tinfoil hat, kook, or conspiracy theorist, or blah blah, etc" at the first mention of these subjects..

sprinklers

I'm pretty sure that the burning trade centers and subsequent collapse overwhelmed the water supply...you can only run so many sprinklers at once....in a given building, much less a city block. Also...until any of you guys flash me credentials in physics, metallurgy, engineering or architecture we're all just applying our "that damn just ain't right" opinion to the matter.

It's occums razor....did 7 fall due to the effects of the unprecedented collapse and destruction of the two gigantic structures next to it and the resulting destruction? Or, were government agents running through rigging it with explosives ... a process that takes days or weeks....so they could drop it for some unknown reason? And not at any point since then a single person involved hasn't whistleblown the whole thing?

Sorry guys....our government isn't competent enough to pull that off.

There are thousands of professionals with these exact credentials pointing out the inconsistencies and concluding the same grim picture.

There's also thousands of scientists who insist anthropogenic global warming is the fault of humans and then there's also thousands of scientists who completely contradict them.

Funny how supposed experts contradicting supposed experts happens so often. You almost have to lose faith in the term "expert" and find it impossible to believe anything any of them say.

It's not just 'experts contradicting experts' in this case..

What you have with Building 7 is people with experience in this type of engineering, metallurgy, architecture, etc on one side simply asking legitimate harmless questions.............and on the other side, you have political appointees on a committee telling them to shut up and claiming that they've provided the "definitive conclusion" on the subject. THis side gets to enjoy the advantage of refusing to provide any of the data on how they are reaching their conclusions...as this would be quote "Jeopardize Public Safety" unquote...and the other does not.

It's a complete joke.
